I must have looked online for over a year to replace the great leather jacket I had bought in New York City during the late1980's . This jacket is "Retro" only because they don't make them that well anymore. It's made of the softest leather, and beautifully crafted. And it's sharp and cool! When I modeled it for a friend he exclaimed : James Dean. Another friend said: Elvis Presley. Indeed the double tone (brown & black leather) collar lends itself to be worn turned up a la Elvis! I'm 6 ft tall, 180 lbs and size 42 jacket. I ordered Extra Large and it fits perfectly. Even with the removable lining I will have room to wear a sweater underneath in the winter. Couldn't be happier. Also Hides offers great customer service.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband who is 6ft tall and usually wears an XL. The coat fit perfectly. It is not your average leather coat. It has a double-layered collar for extra styling and an inside zip-out lining so that the coat can be worn in different weather and season conditions. The leather is soft and mailable, yet sturdy enough to wear on a daily basis. I ordered this online and am so pleased with the product and service.
